Enquiries and proposals
Enquiries and quotes are free and don't commit you to anything. A project starts only when you accept a written proposal and make the first payment.
The Complete Website Package
For $39 AUD a month, the package includes:
- Design and build of a website of 6 pages. Extra pages are $10 a month each, agreed in your quote.
- A domain name (.com or .com.au), registered and paid for by us while your plan is active
- Hosting, SSL and security setup
- An enquiry or contact form with spam protection
- SEO setup and Google Search Console connection
- Email forwarding from your domain to an inbox you already use
- Up to 2 hours of updates each month (unused time doesn't roll over)
Extra security add-on ($5 a month): stricter firewall and bot-blocking rules, a monthly security check of your site and settings, and alerts if your site goes down. It reduces risk but can't guarantee a site will never be attacked.
Online shops, booking systems, member areas, custom applications, extra pages and paid integrations are outside the package and are quoted separately.
Payment
- The first five months ($150 AUD, or $175 with extra security) are paid upfront before work begins.
- From month six, the fee is $39 AUD a month ($44 with extra security), billed monthly in advance.
- We accept card, PayID and PayPal. PayPal payments carry a 5% surcharge, shown on your invoice before you pay. Card and PayID have no surcharge.
- If a payment is more than 14 days overdue, we may take the website offline until it's paid.
Refunds
You pay nothing until you accept a proposal. Once you've accepted the proposal and paid, we don't offer refunds for change of mind.
Our services come with guarantees that can't be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those rights. If something we deliver doesn't match what was agreed, tell us and we'll fix it.
Cancelling
After the first five months, you can cancel any time with 30 days' written notice by email. The website stays live until the end of the period you've paid for. On request, we'll send you your text, images and other content you supplied.
Who owns what
- Your domain is registered in your name. We pay for it while your plan is active. If you cancel, it's transferred to you to keep, and renewals from then on are yours to pay. If you supply your own domain, it stays entirely yours.
- Your content (text, photos, logos you supply) stays yours.
- The website design and code are licensed to you for as long as your subscription is active. If you'd like to buy the code outright to host it elsewhere, ask us for a quote.
Updates and changes
Send update requests by email. Small changes are covered by the monthly allowance above. For anything bigger, we'll quote first and won't start until you agree.
Third-party services
Your site relies on services we don't control, such as hosting, domain registry and email providers. Paid mailboxes and any software you choose to add are billed to you directly. Very busy sites, online shops and web applications may need a bigger plan, which we'll quote before any change.
Your responsibilities
- Provide content you have the right to use, and check it's accurate.
- Reply to questions and review drafts so the project can keep moving.
- If you supplied your own domain, keep its registration paid and active.
Liability
We take care to build and maintain your site well, but we can't guarantee it will be available without interruption or be free of all security issues. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to re-supplying the service or refunding the fees paid for the affected period. This doesn't affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
